what is the purpose for DC naming with postfix /cfg

Hi all,

What is the purpose for DC naming with postfix /cfg

e.g ess/cod & ess/cod/cfg

If i have enhancement on "change own data", i only need to modify ess/cod is enough?

Hi xiangli heah,

yes you need to only modify ess/cod. As of my knowledge cfg indicates another Iview.

Please follow this process to know which DC to be modified when you need to modify any Iview.

Login to portal->Content Administration->Portal Content->Content Provided by SAP->End user content->Employee Self Service->IViews->Employee Search->Change Own Data(Iview)->Right click on Change own data iview open the object and see the property "Application namespace" there you can find related DC..

After finding the required DC come to NWDS and check for the same in Inactive Dcs.
