Hello,

Silo/Tank Management allows a company to record physical material stocks in tanks (silos) either hourly, daily, or weekly. As a part of that process, tank dips can be recorded in the R/3 System. The physical stock readings (tank dip readings) can be compared at any time with book inventories (storage location stocks, batch stock, or special stock), or with changes in book inventories (goods movement records). In that way, gains and losses can always be determined and goods movements can be monitored. O4_TIGER transaction is used to record the physical inventory in the silos.

Hi,

O4Tiger is an IS Oil functionality where you can record your tank dips for your tank on a specified period. It is like taking a physical inventory and enter it in the system. With 04tiger, you can also change or display your tank dips. Another use for this transaction is to analyze the gains and losses, otherwise known as operating gains/losses, in your tank. The system provides you a report of the inventories and the movements that take place in the tank. If you want to post the gains/losses to reconcile your inventory with the book balance, then in this transaction you can create the physical inventory document, which you can use to subsequently ;post the gains and losses.
