Email Notification - attachment

Hi,

We have configured the email notification for the service desk,and its working fine.But we receiving the content as an attachment in the mail,but we would like to receive it in the Body of the mail rather than an attachement.

How can we do this?

Hi,

All the contents or documents will be mailed only as an attachment. You can specify the type of content in SCOT transaction and configure the SMTP in SICF........

that's not true. You can send them as text in the email by following the directions I provided above.

Hi Jason,

I have a requirement to send the notification in HTML format. But i don't see option HTML in SCOT. How to change the notification to HTML?

Hi,

There is no way you can dircetly send an html e-mail it has to go through smartform only.

You can convert the PDF into html and then send it to the recepeint.

In transaction SCOT go into the STMP item and in the details change PDF to Txt for smartforms.
