Hi,
after building a simple interactive form with the form builder in ABAP, I send the form as email attachment to a user. The user must fill in data and save the form locally.
Later he uploads the data to SAP again.
I use ZCI layout, the menu item include scripting was hit, the adobe reader version is 8.1.3.
I use fillable = 'X' in the procedure of creating the PDF.
The problem is, the user can not save the filled form. The message is: Only empty form can be saved.
Although I found some threads on this issue, I could not find a solution.
When previewing the form in the forms designer, the fields are open.
What is wrong ?
Thanks
Marcus
Did you bind your textfields and all your other fields that can be entered to a data node in your hierarchy? To save a field it must have a Binding (otherwise there would be no place to save that data).

Hi,
Please ask your Basis team to check the ADS Credentials. If they are not installed on your server you cannot use that form as a fillable.
For that your team have to ask the password from SAP to install the credentials using solution manager.
Hope this will help you.

Gaurav

Hi Marcus,
I assume the message that the form cannot be saved is from Reader. Please check if usage rights are applied to your form (the blue i-button in Reader).
