I have a IDOC->XI->File scenario

I have a requirement that after the file is send to the target the source idoc status should change..

do i hae to use ALEAUD for this or how do i do it

Hi,

You can use SYSTAT01 IDoc for this.

This will update the status of source IDoc.

Dear Shweta ,

Do i need to write a BPM then like

receive step->send step which would send the file to target -> send step to send idoc SYSTAT01 with updated status

Exactly with the help of send step there is option for acknowledge in case of yours application ack is not possible only transport ack is possible.

I did not understand you explanation of tranport/app ack in the send step do i need to select acknowledge option of the send step ...can you throw some more light on this

Hi Tarang,

Yes,you can have a transformation step where you set two parameters IDoc number and status to SYSTAT01.This will update the status of source IDoc.

We are doing the same in case of AS2 scenario where we map MDN to SYSTAT01 IDoc which updates the status of source IDoc .
