Enhancement of Component Controller Context - Ehp 4

Hi,

I'm woking on Ehp4 and I have created an enhancement for the LSO_RC_SELECT_OBJECT component.

I have added one new attribute in an interface node, my enhancement is activated, but I'm not able to see it in the host component when I try to reuse my enhanced LSO_RC_SELECT_OBJECT.

Can you help me to fix this issue ?

Hi,

Enhancements in WebDynPro has some problem that we identfied is, some time you do not see the changes, Your enhancement can not copy when your coping entire application which has enhancement in it.

So i suggest, do direct development if possible.

Finally I have simply made a copy of the component. Thanks you for your help gentlemen.

It is not size to copy the component instead of using the enhancement framework. If the enhancement framework is not functioning properly for you, you should enter a support ticket and get a fix from SAP. The long term cost of making the change will be much less if you use the enahancement framework instead of copy and modify.

I know that's the best way to use enhancement framework,

even if my timeline are very short.

Regarding this you can go thru the WDA component -WDR_TEST_ENHANCEMENTS in your system.
