IDoc u2013 HTTP Using SAP BC

Hi Experts,

I want to create the following scenario using SAP Business Connector.

SAP system sends an IDoc asynchronously to SAP BC. The SAP BC converts the IDoc into a standard IDoc XML document. After the conversion the SAP BC sends the XML document synchronously to an external URL of a business partner via HTTP.

Can anyone provide me with a document consisting of all the steps involved for the above configuration, right from SAP system to BC system.

Hi Michal,

Thanks for your suggestion, i got one guide for BC configuration. However, in this there is a requirement of BP_HT_V1.471_H35_RN_KO.zip file which i have to copy on my server, but this file is available only with the BC installation CD & i got the installables directly from the SAP Market place, can you please let me know from where can i get this file????

so you're doing rosseta

the lastest version of best practices cd can be downloaded from:

service.sap.com/swdc

then path:

Installations and Upgrades" SAP Best Practices" SAP BP FOR HIGH TECH" HIGH TECH - V1.600

but it's for 1.600 version and you're file should be for V1.471

so maybe you need to ask SAP where to download it if V1.600 DVD will not work

Hi Michal,

One more thing, now that you know that i am doing Rosetta , in which XML messages are converted into the SAP IDOCS & then processed by R/3 system or vice versa. So for this i have done all the configuration i.e

R/3 Side:-

1) Establishing the RFC destination.

2) Creating Port.

BC Side:-

1) Adding SAP sever.

2) Creating Listeners.

3) Creating Routing rules (PIP3A4, PIP3A4, PIP3B2, PIP3C3)

Now what next should be done so that the IDOC is sent to the R/3 system????

hi,

there are no documents like that for the whole scenario

but IDOC to BC is all described in BC how to guides

also BC to HTTP you can find in how to guides of BC

(have a look at doc folder in bc installation folder)
