Upgrade of SAP R3 4.6C to ECC 6.0 Problem~@@

Hi, experts

I am doing the upgrade of SAP R3 4.6C to ECC 6.0 I finished the stage of PREPARE and started Upgrade SapUp with Upgrade Agent and I choose resource-minimized strategy. After pass some phases, appear the following error in UCMIG_STATUS_CHK phase:

ERROR: The Unicode Conversion Preparations on the startrelease (transaction SPUMG)

have not been finished yet.

You cannot proceed with the upgrade unless the preparation has been finished.

- "continue"

- "cancel"

what should i do??

Hi,

During the prepare phase you might selected the option of Combined upgrade and Unicode conversion toghther. For details on source system and target release please check the note : 928729

Before you can do the Combined upgrade and Unicode conversion, you have to perform unicode conversion preparatory steps. Unless you complete this you willl not be able to move forward.

Check the section: UCMIG_DECISION in upg guide for information on CUUC. Check notes 544623 & 813445 for more on the preparation for CUUC.

Is it the Combined Upgrade and Unicode Conversion you are doing??

Provide me with complete details of the logs.
