Technical and Business System

Hi,

I need to create a business system called ERT which is a sap R/3 system.

As we are using XI 3.0, please do provide the steps.

Moreover, once we create the technical and business system, how do we actually test it without running an scenario.

Have you tried SDN search for technical and business system creation? Just give it a try.

You don't really have to test the business system as such in SLD. You have to import it in ID and then test further.

Guys,

I tried creating comparing with development environment.

The only problem i am facing is that when we click technical system landscape, you have a parameter called system home.

That one is highlighted in development environment whereas it is not in my environment.

While giving some details, i dont know where to give the IP address of the technical system name.

If some kind of weblog is there, would be really helpful.

Krish,

Once you create Business system, it should point to a proper technical system, you should consult basis guys to understand the underlying landscape properly.

Once you create it you will import SWCV for IR and BS for ID.
