tax code mapping

Hi All,

I am creating a shopping cart and for tax related data, I have done mapping in customization for different tax codes. Shopping cart is created when I am creating a service shopping cart but whenever I create a limit shopping cart, I get an error which is "Tax code# in tax procedure# is invalid". Same tax code is being used for service shopping cart which is created successfully but gives error in limit SC.

Any pointers will be helpful.

Hi,

Is the tax procedure which you get in the error message is same as the correct tax procedure set up in backend.Check what is the 'Tax procedure' that you have set in backend. Procedure is assigned to a country, so may be the system is picking up wrong procedure because country is not correctly passed.

Same Tax procedure is maintained in backend as well.

Problem is that it does not give any error in case of a normal SC but for limit SC only.

Hi,

For limits, I think, tax is not calulated in shopping cart as per standard. It should get calculated in po instead. There should not be any tax code selection when you are creating a limit shopping cart. Do you see any tax code defaulted or you are manually selecting any tax code.
