location according to product

Hi,

While i am creating Shopping Cart it is possible to set the location according to the product or product categories which will be selected.

In my scenario, if select the product it will default the particular location where the product should stored.

If it is possible, how i can do it....thr' Badi or thr' Org itself....

Hi,

Locations are set in org structure in extended attributes. Based upon your default location, it will be shown up in shopping cart. There is control based on product. If you want to use your own logic, then try using bbp_doc_change badi with method, bbp_sc_change. You would need to modify the et_partner table for location change.

Hi,

There is no link between Product and Plant in SRM.

To change the Plant as per the product in the shopping cart,you can do it by implementing the badi "BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI".Change the location/plant in the strcuture ET_PARTNER as explained by sanjeev.

You can set default location user level or department level. I think you have to go only BADI method....
