Dear All

A Material can be sold from any of the 4 plants. The same material can be partly sold ffom plant 1 or 2in the same sales order. Depending on material stocks, if the same material is sold from plant 1..system should pick excise duty.. in plants..if its sold from plant 2...it should not pick excise duty the same material can be partly sold from plant 1 or 2 in the same sales order..depending on material stock in

plants..

How to configure this scenario,

can anybody help me out

thanks & regards

Mani

Hi,

This will also works,

Do not maintain Chapter id for Material and Plant combination expect plant 1 in J1ID--->Material and Chapter id combination.

Thanks,

Go to J1ID, select "Excise Indicator for Plant" and execute. There maintain Plant 1 for the company code and assign "1" under the tab "Exc.Ind.Comp.". Similarly, dont maintain for Plant 2.

With this setting, while creating sale order, if you maintain Plant 1 as Delivering Plant, duty will flow and if you enter Plant 2, duty will not flow.

As regards partial quantity in one line item, this is not possible. You have to maintain separate line items for the same material one for Plant 1 and another one for Plant 2.

thanks
