Hi,
Can any one expalin how the Independent validation 05-tolerance limits (absolute) works during the meter reading result entry with an example.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Richard,
For validation 05, the system checks whether the current consumption falls below or exceed absolute.
i.e., the current consumption is compared with the consumption from 'x' number of previous periods. The base period (period used for determing consumption or demand during an extrapolation) is the starting period for comparison.
Thanks

Hi Richard,
Tolerance Limit (Absolute) is used for checking consumption against limit set in absolute terms.
eg: Expected consumtion = 100 and positive deviation = 20 and Negative Deviation = 5.
So the limit will be from 95 to 120.
Tolerance Limit (Relative) is used for checking consumption against relative terms in percentage.
eg: Expected consumption = 100 and Postive deviation = 80 % and Negative Valiadtion = 20 %.
So the limit will be from 80 to 180.
Hope this will help you.
Thanks,
