Hi,
We are creating a returns delivery, but the picking field is greyed out and we cannot enter any value there. Is picking not required in a returns delivery?

Hi,
the returned stock will be posted directly to the returns storage location once u receive the PGR, it takes the qty that u enter into the returns sales order. in case if u want it to be picked u can make it in in delivery types (0vlp) item category, but generally it is not relevant for picking.

Regarding the relevance of picking in a returns delivery depends from client to client, some clients do not use this functionality and some do use it.

Go to ovlp and check for your returns item category REN, if relevant for picking is not ticked here then while creating a returns delivery you will find picking field greyed, if you tick that you shall see that field in active mode in your returns delivery. Please revert back if useful.

Yes, returns are not relevant for picking, bcz the goods are sent by the customer, u will not pick it.
