Create EWA Reports without saprouter connection

Dear Experts,

Please clarify, can Early Watch reports be created for satellite systems without saprouter connected to solution manager system.

Hello Sunil,

For EWA reports connection to SAP router is necessary.

so if you have a saprouter connection from satellite systems,then also you can generate EWA reports

for this Solution manager is not necessary

You can do this by configuring EWA reports using t-code SDCCN in your satellite system

Actually we want to clarify that, if we have only solman and satellite system in place , can we create EWA locally in solman without having the saprouter installed.

No Sunil,it will not be possible since during execution of earlywatch service,you will need a connection to SAP as some processing is done at SAP side otherwise the EWA service will fail.

But why dont you for saprouter,its very easy to install and u can do that on any windows server and can easily connect to SAP
