Advance functions in SAP QM

Hello Experts

I would like to know what are the advance functionalities available in QM area other than SAP QM.

ex. being xAPPs .

We have some requirements to define and store control plans, things like storing documents and retreiving them, cost of poor quality (FICO integration) and ability to send automatic emails, PPAP, APQP..

I know that we have DMS for documents. I learned we have XAPPS and MII for other areas, so looking for similar things for SAP QM. I have not seen many enhancements in SAP QM for last 7 years.
