SSO between CRM 7.0 and Webgui ECC 6.0

Hi,

I'm trying to find step-by-step configuration document that will help me to configure that. We have users

entering the CRM via explorer then they click on a link to ECC webgui (ITS).

what I've already done:

1) configured strustsso2 in ECC to accept CRM system ABAP side.

2) configured in ECC -> sicf in webgui service parameters to accept cookies.

Still nothing works. Please advice,

check if the web gui service is active in sicf and tell me what URL is being used for accessing the web gui

are you using the right port no ...check in smicm...

this is what I get from the link in CRM that points to ECC:

http://server_name:8000/sap(bD1FTiZjPTQwMCZkPW1pbiZpPTEmcz1TSUQlM2FBTk9OJTNhc2FwZGMxX0RDMl8wMCUzYUJY...

for this to work you need to use fully qualified domain name.

instead of http://server_name:8000/ it should read something like http://server_name.domainname.com:8000/

Check the wiki area with key word FQDN, you should be able to find a document explaining how to do this.
