copy item sales text

Hi,

There is a scenario where I want to copy 1st line item text should be copied to the 2nd line item text at the time of saving the sales order.

Can anybody tell me how to proceed..?

Hi,

In standard SAP it is not possible to copy the 1 st line item material text to 2 nd line item.If you want to copy automaticaly then you need to use user exit

you can try the below user exit for this.

What i could understand from the question is that:

u want description of 1st line item to b copied into 2nd line item.

Plz correct me if i m wrong.

n if that's what u want 2 do i.e copy d description then i doubt it's possible as it's fetched by d material u enter from the material master thus will depend on d line item irrespective of what's there on the other line.

Plz revert if that's not what u wanted 2 ask n if answered then plz do close the thread.
