Hello guru!

i'm using a new PI 7.1 installation.

in Enterprise Services Builder, when i try to open (from BASIS package) or create a new Message Mapping or a Operation Mapping i have a java exception:

Unexpected exception.

when i open detail i see the follow strange log message:

...

....

Caused by: java.io.InvalidClassException: com.sap.aii.ib.bom.gen.container.ContainerHelper; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = 42, local class serialVersionUID = 3911155493117763752

....

any suggestion?

I would definitely start by rolling forward to the latest patch level. I don;t believe the depolyment completed successfully, despite a message you telling that it was!

This should hopefully rectify your error..

and if you raise a note with SAP they will ask you to get your patches up to date!
