WorkFlow in sales order

Dear Experts,

My client requirement is whenever a sales order is created system must automatically trigger a mail to sold to party. i had searched the Work flow scenarios in SDN but i did not find any. kindly suggest me any standard workflow is available for the above request if so kindly help me how to confogure in the system.

Hi,

There are many ways to do it

1) Distibution list SO23 functionality can used to mention all the email ids and same can be called in a program. need to check for some user exit which can be used for your reqirment from technical consultnat

2) A new output type can be defined and medium can be mentioned as Special Function. Again the program needs to devolped

Dear Abhi,

There is no standard workflow availaible for this in system.

Instead you can use user_ exit for the same.

You will have to use user exit USER_EXIT_DOCUMENT_SAVE_PREPARE in include MV45AFZZ.

you can use this function module to send mail to sold to party.

SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1.
