Hi Friends,

While Installation, Customer BI Production Portal was configured as ABAP for UME data Source.

(dataSourceConfiguration_abap.xml)

Now, their requirement is use ADS as Data source for Authentication to BI Portal.

As per SAP Note:718383, Once ABAP chosen as data source configuration, we cannot change to any other data source configuration.

But , I need to know, whether, is it possible to change to other datasource ( Microsoft Active Directory Server).

Please mail ur suggestions.

Hi Venkat,

As per my experience, it is possible to change the DataSource configuration again. If you select

reset to default for the property, the value will return to the original dataSourceConfiguration_database_only.xml.

Later you could again choose the ADS configuration with the consequence that the earlier ABAP users

will not be able to login to the Portal.
