table entries into VIRSA_CC_ALLASTRUN

Hi folks,

As per Note 1015921, I am trying to configure Alerts in CC.

It advocates to insert table entries into table VIRSA_CC_ALLASTRUN on AS Java.

Where and how do you execute these insert statements, so that the table records are modified?

Yes, via programming you can. I don't know if it will allow you to update it directly. You must login using the SID DB admin privileges then only you will be able to update GRC AC tables.

Thanks. My issue is resolved now.

Basically, the FM /VIRSA/ZCC_GET_STATREC_DATA was giving abap dumps with not enough sort memory available on ERP system. Once that was fixed, the alert job ran like a charm.

We did not have to modify the table level details in AS Java.

hi Reddy,

Are you a BASIS person? If you are not, I won't recommend you to run these SQL statements. Anyhow, RAR/CC data resides in NW Database. You can run these by logging in you DB via SID username and password and then run those queries.

Thank you Alpesh. Your response definitely brings clarity to my situation. I am a basis resource, but do not have access to db privileges here.

My intent was to find a utility in AS Java similar to SM30/SM31 in AS ABAP.

Can you actually update the table in AS Java from NWDS, the dev. environment for Java platform ?
