defaults storage types

Hi,

At the time of creation of TO for a material, i need to have some storage types available (defaulted ) in the field 'storage type Search' ?

What settings i need to make this work?

You will need to define Stock Placement Strategies from Placement (E) operator

in Configuration:

SPRO->LE->WM->Strategies->Define Storage Type Search

These will then appear as defaults for TO creation in the Putaway Process.

I am using TO for stock removal for a certian material.So please let me know if i have to make any setting in that material master as well so that sytem understands storage types are to be defsaulted for that material .

Yep.... Same thing but this time the operation in (A) for picking. You will need to define a search sequence if you have a preference or loko in the whole whse *** if you are using something like FIFO etc.

On WM2 Tab of material Master you will have to maintain the Stock Removal Indicator.

do i need to define search strategy if we dont want any preference of stoarage types but just want to display these storage types when creating a TO
