hi

i just want to know how the cost is calculated in work center and how to define a work center for a project

is there any formula that has to set in work center? and plz give an example

SAP004 => the duration (important for scheduling)

SAP08 => the capacity (important for capacity requirement and costs. )

Example, an activity takes 10 hours, need capacity 40 hours, becasue there are 4 persons work at this activity on the same time.

And donot forget to maitain the cost center of the workcenter tab 'costing' .

Hi,

Before u create a work center by Tcode CNR1, a cost center and activity type has to be created.

1. Create cost center - Tcode KS01

2. Create Activity Type - Tcode KL01

3. Then goto Tcode KP26 and input price for that activity type related to that cost center for a defined period.

Then create workcenter by Tcode CNR1. In Scheduling tab use Formula, SAP004. And in Costing Tab use formula, SAP008.

This is the way to create a work center and cost will be calculated based on the price you have given in KP26.
