Former Member

Hello Experts ,

We have configured CUP ( AE 5.3 support pack 4) & have configured LDAP as authentication system.

But when I try to enter my logon id it does not allow me to enter more than 15 characters

....

Has anyone of you encountered this error ..

Also I would like to know if anyone can guide on how to configure UME - Self Registration.

Thanks !

Shailesh

Shailesh,

This is an issue in CUP 5.3. SAP has fixed this issue in latest SP of CUP 5.2. They are fixing this in latest SP of 5.3 as well.

Abhishek-

I don't think you should say that it is fixed. But you can reword it to it "the fix is planned." That terminology was communicated by GRC Development here in Palo Alto.

Hi Shailesh,

This is a limitation for the Log On Id that it cannot be more than 15 characters. You can log on with some other user id (which is less than 15 charaters) and create request for this user by selecting ** Requesting for other user.

Can you elaborate on what excatly you want to achieve when you say UME self registration?

Regards

Harleen
