Posting to Scrap from Quality

Dear Experts,

During UD one of our user post the accepted stock to scrap unknowingly . Even though we can do the cancellation through movement type 552 , we want to do through UD posting . Please suggest what to do since we need to have a record of this lot in Quality.

Hi

When Qulity put material in scrap it is 553 Mvt & not 551

you can do following things

1) Please activate the inspection type 05 in the QM View of material master,

2) Use MB1a trx with mvt type 554

3) Use the same cost centre as earlier

4) Material document will be genrated and because inspection type 05 inspection lot is created. and stock is updated in QI stock

5) clear the Inspection lot by taking UD , so Stock is transfer from QI stock to unrestricted.

I think your problem will be solved .

Hi,

Once Quantity posted from QI Stock , you can not revert it back into QI.If Req, Movment type 349 need to activate for QI and Inspection type 08 need to assigned to MM Inspection setup. Than you will get one new lot of type 08. Do Inspection and UD.
