Installation of ST-PI 2008_1_700 hangs in IMPORT_PROPER phase

Hi all.

The installation of the PlugIn ST-PI 2008_1_700 (using SAINT transaction) hangs in the IMPORT_PROPER phase due to the following error:

Start import R3TRTABU/SDF/MSS_CUST ...

Table /SDF/MSS_CUST is not in nametab

Table /SDF/MSS_CUST is not in nametab

Table /SDF/MSS_CUST is not in nametab

Table /SDF/MSS_CUST is not in nametab

End import R3TRTABU/SDF/MSS_CUST (with warnings)

I try to avtivate the table manually, but the following error occurs:

TABL /SDF/MSS_CUST was not activated

Check table /SDF/MSS_CUST (ITSSAD0000/02.03.09/11:23)

Enhancement category for table missing

Enhancement category for include or subtype missing

/SDF/MSS_CUST: Inconsistency DD <-> DB (check table with analysis tool)

Check on table /SDF/MSS_CUST resulted in errors

I also try to check the table using the SE14 (Database Utility) and the only information we gain is that table is not active in the dictionary.

Searching for SAP Notes does not lead to anything useful.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Marco,

If the table /SDF/MSS_CUST is empty, you could drop the table at the DB level and then re-activate the

table from SE11.

Hi All.

Problem was related to table generation error after an CU/UC.

We have checked an then regenerated all the involved tables!

Hi Marco,

If you have steps in table regenaration. please share with me.

Now am doing the unicode conversion. but I got same error in nametabs creation time.

Error : DD sources table WDDROCTRL could not be read

Please advice.
