billing no range

Hi,

in standard sap max no of digits in no range is 10 (Tcode VN01)

now requirement is to have 15 digit no range how this can be done

Hi,

I don't think this is Possible in Standarad SAP. As the number range number comes from (TNRO-DOMEAN) domain.You can not change the standard.You can see this in transaction "SNUM/SNRO" And select the object"RV_BELEG". The only option would be to create new Ztable and insert a field for number range of length of ur wish and make that number range get picked using "userexit_number_range" .Kindly please let me know If this has helped.

havent heard of this.

still- field length has given "20" digits, but system is allowing only upto 10 digits- not sure what could be the reason.

My q'n is: why you need to have more than 10 digits, this much length is enough to fulfill any number range requirement.

15 digit no range is needed cos new logic is being used for no range

year/plant code/range -so we need 15 digits 10 digits won't suffice

pl suggest how 15 digits range can be achieved
