Hi Guys,
I am picking up a file from XI server process it and posting it to SAP R/3 using RFC FM.
When I placed the file in the directory its not picking up the file.
What things I need to check to make it work.
Cheers
Senthil
Hi
check if the file is in read only mode, (or check the attributes, so the file/ direcotry is accessible)
on the other hand, have you "checked" the option of process read only file in the adapter settings in XI

Also check the path specified is the same as where you post the file.
Thanks,

Check File Channel status from RWB.

1. What does the adapter log say for your File CC in RWB?
2. What is the processing mode? Delete ??
3. Is the server details specified correctly
4. Have you provided user authentication? User id/PWD?

Hi,
Adapter engine is not active. It has red sign in front of it.
Here is the log for CC
1 communication channels have an error status
2 communication channels inactive
0 communication channels not providing any status information
0 adapters logging communication-channel-independent processing errors
Can you guide to activate Com. Channel and Adapter Engine.
Thanks
Senthil
HI,
Go to your communication channel, advanced tab, status.
Check the status as active in advanced tab.
Once you do this and activate your channel, go to communication channel monitoring, and stop your channel and then start the same , so that the changes which you have done in your channel would be reflected then.
If you still see the error in your channel, then do mention what exactly the error is, so that one of the SDNer's could help you.
Regards,
Swetha.

Hi,
communication channel status is active before.
Here is the status
Is the exchange profile available? - Green
Is a user defined for component AF? - Green
Are communication channels without errors? - Red
Is the Adapter Engine running? - Green
When I do the self test
Ping status - Green
Self-test status - Red
I don't find any option for start and stop the channel. Please brief me.
Thanks
Senthil
