Customer Master creation with reference- KVGR1 data not getting copied

Hi ,

I'm created a customer with reference to an existing customer, at that time it is not copying the Additional data(KNVV-KVGR1, KNVV-KVGR2) into the new customer.

Where can enable the configuration to copy that data too ?

It happens all the time whether within the same sales area or different sales area.

HI,

If you use, customer groups (SAP standard), they will be copied when u copy from one customer to other customer.

If this is not happening, please check in the copy controls used, for any of the restrictions developed to stop copying these fields when the customer is copied.

Otherwise, the stadard behavious is to copy as it is.

You r saying about copy controls being used ? Are there any copy controls exist for Customer master ?

Hi Aj,

I feel that Additional data field in Customer master are enhancements done as per client requirements. This means that these are not the standard Customer master fields and are developed as per requirements.

You should therefore take help of your ABAPer in case you want to copy the data from these fields into the new referred customer.
