Hi,

we have a NON-Unicode system, SAP ECC 6.0 on a Oracle 10.2 box. We need to have master data for some itemes in Polish language for printed-layout such as delivery note and invoices.

We don't need to logon in PL language os SAP system.

I know it, we should be migrate to Unicode, but we have a very large database and we must plan it for next 6 months (with test & co.).

Do you know other solution ? such some add-on ?

Regards.

Hi Ganimede,

even if you don't need to login with PL, this language definitely needs codepage 1401 (Latin2, ISO 8859-2) to display characters correctly.

What other languages are you using?

Dutch, English, French, German, Italian & Spanish all run on codepage 1100 (see [note 73606|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/73606], attached PDF, page 24). When adding PL, this is only possible with an MDMP (multi codepage) configuration, which is not supported on 7.00 basis.
