MDM Import manager (mismatch between XML file and XSD structure)

Hi MDM Experts

I am trying to use XML file generated in ECC system for MATMAS05 (segement defination version 4), the problem is mismatch between the XSD file (standard material business content MATMAS.MATMAS05.XSD) and the XML file for maeeage type MATMAS05.

The issue is MATMAS05 segment E1MARMM (version4) has additional fields which are not defined in standard XSD.

Because of this issue in import manager while importing XML file using standard XSD schema is issueing error messages (Field XYZ not vailable) and import is aborted.

Any suggestions.

Hi Vickey,

If you have a customized XML, you need to create a corresponding XSD for that using xomlite or other similar software.Once you have created the XSD, define the same in the console.

No customization involved, using standard message type and idoc type.

Try to generate XSD for your standard IDoc using we60.

Define it in your console.
