Hi,

I have a File to IDOC scenario. Everything is fine in PI. But in R/3, (WE05) there is an error. Please suggest what might be the problem.

IDoc: <IDOC No> Status: Application document not posted

EDI: IDoc <IDOC No>' is already open in process mode

Best Regards,

Madan Agrawal

Madan Agrawal,

I wonder whether this issue is related to SAP XI. It seems related to this thread:

There the problem is related to some ABAP code is SAP R/3.

Kind regards,

Koen

Hi Koen,

Yes, it is related to ABAP but as a PI consultant what should be our action.

I went through the link but there is no answer for the same question.

Madan Agrawal,

You can check whether the same issue occurs when submitting the same IDoc through we19 (in R/3). If the behavior is the same, there's no action you can do to resolve this in PI.

Kind regards,

Koen

Hi Koen,

Through WE19 (Inbound Function Module) there is no error and IDOC got posted successfully.

But WE19(Standard Inbound), the same error is coming.

Madan Agrawal,

In that case I think the ABAP developers need to find out what's causing it. The last post in the thread mentioned earlier may give a hint.

Kind regards,

Koen

How did you resolve this issue.

Even I'm facing the same problem.

HI Madan,

"Aplication not posted", this is not teh prb associated with PI.

There could be some prb in at R/3 side.

Swetha.

Check in R/3 side whether idoc is generated or not?

what type of idoc you are trying to generate?
