IS-Retail: What makes a sales order differ from an STO?

Former Member

In retail, we can sell from one site to another site (both are our own sites); then, if pricing procedures are configured to be the same for both SO and STO, so what makes a sales order differ from an STO?

Any idea would be appreciated.

Hi,

In Retail, generally merchandise will not be sold from one site to another site within a Company because accounting happens at company code level and hence they only do STO which is just transfer of stock.

Pricing procedure is not same for both STO and Sales Order.

In Sales Order Pricing, "Markup,Taxes" will be there where as in STO these are not applicable.
