Hello,
I'm looking for a way to package IDocs into a single tRFC call from XI/PI to a SAP instance, has anyone done something similar previously? So far all I've been able to find are solutions for the IDoc Sender Adapter (SAP to XI/PI).
Messages are sent into PI via the XI protocol one at a time, then mapped and sent to an SAP instance - I do not want to introduce ccBPM into my scenario and we are not at a sufficent SP level to use message packaging. Any ideas?
Many thanks,
- Ian
hi Ian,
this is possible as per my blog:
/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2007/12/02/xipi-sender-idoc-adapter-packaging
from EhP1 for 7.0
no BPM necessaty just the standard - all IDocs in one call

Hi Michal,
Unfortunately I am not in a position to move the instance to EhP 1, however I don't think that would help in this situation anyway - as the enhancement is for the Sender IDoc adapter and I want to package the IDocs in the Rceiver IDoc adapter (i.e collect the IDocs from the IE pipeline and send in packets). The messages coming into the pipeline are not IDocs from a SAP instance and so could not use this enhancement anyway.
Unless I have missed something here?

- Ian
Hi,
ahh sorry then:) then it's even easier this works in standard with any SP:)
have a look at my blog:

also described in my book with screenshots:

this approach is very easy
