HI GRC Expert
We are planning to install SAP GRC (2 system Landscape) on Linux in virtual environment and would like to know whether it is supported or not..
I believe SAP does not recommend to go for virtualisation for Production environment but GRC is not Resource consuming Application and will be only used by 10-15 people so we are planning to do the install in virtual environment (LINUX)
Please provide your suggestion
Thanks with regards
Deelip
Deelip,
You should ask this question in NW forum. If you can install SAP NW on virtual Linux or not. GRC AC 5.3 supports all the platforms SAP NW WAS supports. It should work as long WAS is installed.

Dileep,
Can you be specific on what do you mean by GRC? GRC is not an application's name. GRC is a name of Business Unit and it has applications like AC, PC, GTS, RM etc. If you are planning to install Access Control (AC) then it is resource consuming application and it doesn't change much with the number of users accessing the application. As long you can install and use SAP NW (WAS) then you should be able to install and use GRC AC 5.3.

Hi Alpesh
Sorry for the confusion
Yes we will first install NW 2004s Java stack and then on top of that whatever is required for GRC AC 5.3
So can we install NW 2004s on Linux virtual environment?
Our Plna is to connect GRC development system to our ECC 5.0 Dev and QA, and connect GRC Production system to ECC Production system
Our ECC 5.0 is running on AIX system so will there constraints for integrating GRC as ECC is running on AIX but GRC (NW 2004s Installation) will be running on Linux?
Thanks
