MII and label printing

Hi, we're looking to implement a generic printing solution on the plant floor at the consumer unit level, sku level and logistics level (pallet). In this latter case unique SSCC must be assigned to each pallet assembled coming out of our production lines. My question is very simple. Before we go off and design our own generic app, does anybody know of an xAPP out there that we could leverage to help us in this area. The reason I'm looking for an MII solution is I'd like the solution to be somewhat independent of the system state of SAP ECC (available or not available). The challenge I see is around the management of SSCC.

I have done this several times. We try to leverage some things but implementations end up so specific to the different customers that we don't see much of a re-use advantage across projects other than the experience gained.I think your going to have to build it. You could look at AII as well.
