FQDN Endpoints of WSDLs published in the Service Registry

Former Member

We have just noticed that when we publish a Webservice from the Integration Directory on PI7.1 SP6 it does not Fully Qualify the endpoints of the Webservice in the Service Registry!

This is going to cause an issue if we cannot fix this as when we move through the Landscape, we move from a local network Doman, to a Data centre completely off site, in a different Domian.

Is anyone aware of what setting needs to be maintained to address this??

SAP suggested a new(ish) OSS note:

Note 1287938 - WSNavigator does not use changed endpoint URL

Doesn't it use the same addresses for ID that are parameterized in the Exchange Profile?

Make sure the Exchange Profile has FQDN in it.

Hi Henrique

thank you for taking the time to answer...

I had been through the exchangeProfile and thought I had fully qualified everything!

i thought it may have been in the NWA as that is where I configured the UDDI and Service Registry...

I will keep looking though! :o]

Hi Barry,

also, make sure to go through the SLD entries of the 'Exchange Infrastructure' type (or, as of 7.1, 'Process Integration' type).

I think that somewhere in those entries you define the hostname again (and one of the entries is related to ID specifically).

BR,

Henrique.
