How to handle custom EDI Formats in Seeburger?

You will have to create the mapping of the custom EDI structure to its EDI-xml format inside Seeburger BIC Mapper Designer tool available with Seeburger Suite. User mapping file will get generated which has to be deployed on the adapter engine for further usage.

Hi Pragathi,

Mapping is done in EDI converter called Business Integration Converter (BIC) a mapping environment provided by SEEBURGER Which are later imported as SDA files in XI as mapping programs in IR.

Coming to ID we use B2B specific adapter called AS2 adapter module (depending on the way u send the EDI document via Internet or VAN) normally AS2 is preferred for internet communication.The follwoing links has very useful information on EDI mapping in SEEBURGER envionment.
