problem uploading archive link document

Hi experts,

We are trying an archive link scenario using SAP workflow (store and assign). the workitem is getting triggered and also document id is getting linked. we have used the link table TOA01 and our customized content repository.

The proeblem is what ever document we are archiving are getting stored only in our z content repository but not getting updated in link table.

Also we are not able to find the document, using document finder. Does document finder requires any customizing?

Please suggest...

Thanks & Regards,

kavitha

Hi Kavitha,

Can you check the following.

1. Check whether you have correctly entered your content repository specification, link tabe , Object type in OAC3 Transaction .

2. Check whether you have correct entries for Document type and document class in OAC2 transaction code.

Hope this would helps.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the inputs. I have checked both the OAC3 and OAC2 transaction. i have configured them correctly.

For OAC3 transaction- I am using Record as object type, Document type as Z_Scan_doc content repository id as Z1 (customized) and link table as TOA01.

Also in OAC2 - we are using doc.type as Z_Scan_doc and doc.class as PDF.

Also we are archiving just a single document which is of size 28kb.

Also for the cotent repository we are not using any content server instead we are using SAP sytem database.

The configurations we have made for content repository are for:

Document Area : Archive Link

storage type : SAP System Database

rep.sub type : Normal

Version no: 0046

content table : ZDMS_CONT1_CD1

transfer drctry : /free/rcm

Thanks& Regards,

Kavitha

Hi Kavitha,

We cannot use this Store and assign method if we have large number of documents.

So we did a program using standard Archiving function modules .

Kavitha:

Are you using an SAP content server or other storage?

Would you please provide your configuration details so that I can debug for you.

I believe there is a missing item in OAC* t-code. Thanks!
