Job information....

HI

I am not able to get much information for one of the

jobs getting cancelled in BW.

This is not standard BW job. I have already checked

this in SM37 but dont get anything except that its getting

failed. Its not either in released. But gets failed everyday.

The problem is that the user who created this job has become inactive.

Is there anyway to find more information about this job.

Where it got created ? So that I can recreate it again.

Recopying this job is again getting cancelled.

Job name is : SAPCONNECT_XXXXX_HOURLY

Any suggestions.

Did you try to modify settings of this job in SM36?

Anuj,

If the user under which the job is scheduled is inactive, you can reschedule the job with other user id that is active.

Follow the following steps.

1) Copy existing job. select job and copy it by selecting copy option from Job menu.

2) select the copied job and select change option fron Job menu.

3) click on steps and edit the existing step.

4) change the user id with the active one and save.

5) release the job

The name sounds like a job from SAP-Connect. Call SCOT, press F8 to switch to job-view and there you can see the jobs.

If the user has become inactive, does that mean the user id is locked or deleted? Then you have to assign a new user for the steps in the job.
