Hi,
In our scenario, we are using Interactive forms with java Web dynpro.
Wanted to know that apart from Adober Reader, can we use :
1.Adobe Acrobat Standard
2. Adobe Acrobat Pro
3. PDF Converter Pro
also for testing developed interactive forms?
i.e. can end user have any of the above at his desktop for testing Interactive forms developed?
Regards,
Akshay
Hey Akshay,
To answer your question...
1. Yes, you can use Acrobat Standard, but make sure that you have at least 8.1.2 installed...
2. Yes, you can use Acrobat Pro, again, make sure the patch level is at least 8.1.2...
3. I'm not sure, I have never tested with this...
One thing you want to make sure, is that wether it is Reader or Standard, which ever version was installed last, that is what is going to be associated when a PDF is opened, unless the file association has been changed on the users computer. If the users version of reader or anything else, is not up to 8.1.2, then you are going to start getting weird results with your forms... sometimes it will work, sometimes it won't...
Hope this helps...
Cheers,
Kevin
