Netweaver Concept

Hai All,

I have been working past 6 month in sap basis,

but i couldn't understand the concept of netweaver and ERP.

I required some clarification, that is

1. What is the relationship between ERP and Netweaver

2. Netweaver '04 vs Netweaver '07

3. What is the Hierarchy in Netweaver.

4. Web application Server Vs Ecc (5,6)

any document is available to understand the concept, Kindly suggest

I can assure you that they have a very good relationship together !

The difference is 3.

>3. What is the Hierarchy in Netweaver.

As in every company, you have top level management, middle management, low level management and the working class.

4. Web application Server Vs Ecc (5,6)

Apple vs Orange ?? Pear vs Banana

You have to read and work to understand the concepts. No magical forum answer will give you the ultimate Netweaver Truth...

Hi,

SAP NetWeaver is a integrated technology platform and is the technical foundation for all SAP applications.

In short as rightly benny said : NetWeaver is technology, ERP , EP, SRM ,CRM, BI and whatever you name is an application, with base a Netweaver.

All application compoments sits over Netweaver (the foundation), which in the past was called Basis.
