Hi
I like to place a logoff link in the visual composer application. But I canu2019t find the right way. Do you have any suggestions?
Best regards
Werner
Hi
Try this
1. Put the hyperLink element at the top-right of the layout and associate it with predefined action CLOSE WINDOW
or
2. Action could be custom defined also where u navigate to End-Point connector.and put some log-off message.

Hi
I donu2019t want close directly the window (CLOSE). I look for the same behavior like if you click on the top right of the portal to u201CLogoffu201D. In this case the portal calls a java script to logoff. The pop-up appears and at the end the user is back on the logon screen.

Hi Werner
Agreed. Its possible where log-on and log-off both screen will be same and through connector it lead
to log-on or log-off screen. again its will be very simple just attached the custom action and define the event
in both connector .(handle the navigation through panel thats it)
But how portal is handle this scenario is not at related to Visual-Composer because we have restriction with it
and this tool are use for defining simple application only,
Let us explain the scenario.

The scenario is very simple. We have a CE 7.1 Installation with some VC application. The user hast o go through a process to fill out a lot of fields. At the end he can submit the data and he receives a screen with the committed data. The applications are all in the CE portal. At the last screen the user will see some links. One for back to the start and the other as a logoff link. The logoff link should make the same like the portal logoff link.

Hi
1. Drop one Top level Panel (master panel witch contain all other view/panel)
(As Portal top level level navigation is common to all object)
configure it Showtoolbar is true
2. Drop One HyperLink at right corner say Log-off with Custom action LogOff which naviagate to log-in screen
Here One form which serve for both action
-
<Top level Panel> <ShowToolbar = true> Help l Log-off
