Problem while logging into the Integration Directory in PI 7.1

Hello Experts

We have installed PI 7.1 in our system.We have also installed Java Webstart in our machine.When we are trying to log into the Integration Directory it pops the following errors.

" Cannot connect to the server using the message server ms://p038li:5643/P4."

"Exception while trying to get InitialContext".

"Can't get Socket.Reason:Connection timed out:connect.

Can anyone extend some help on this.

HI,

I think this problem is due to installation setting and java problem. Better to check with network & basis people and install java 1.5 version for PI 7.1. Your problem will be sort out easily.

are you able to log into integration repository?

Yes the same error is popping up while trying to open the Enterprise Services Builder in PI 7.1 ( i.e Integration Repository in XI 3.0).

try the following;

1. Ensure that XI server is up and running

2. Check if the Java version is 1.5 and above. PI 7.1 will require that.
