Cusomized inspection type for 03 -inprocess

Dear Friends

I created new inspection type z03 by copying 03 - inprocess inspection for production

step -1

create inspection type z01

step-2

inspection lot orgin and assign inspection type

i assigned inspection orgin 03 to inspection type z03

Define inspection values to inspection type z03

Assign insepction type z03 to material master

created process order for the material & Released no inspection lot created or assigned to process order

but i changed inspection type 03 (standard in material master) now inspection lot is created and assigned to inspection lot

i dont what setting i am missing can any one help me solve

Hi Rajkumar,

If u maintain inspection type only Z03 it should have both preferred insp type & Insp type active activated in QM view of material master.

Activating preferred insp type is must as per variant 01 in IL origin & Ins Type combination 03 type will be only active.

1) First try with ticking Preferred Indicator tick for Z03 inspection type in material master

2) if the first doesnt work please go to customisation
