Notification without workflow

Dear all,

our client is not having workflow. for incoming inspection i am proposing following solution.

two role will be there

Quality inspector

Quality manager

Process is as follows

Quality Inspector will do Result recording. and if any defects observed he will do defect recording in this case notification will get generated.

For notification Quality Manager is responsible for taking decision weather to accept it with deviation or to reject after notification is confirmed

Usage decision wil be given for lot by Quality inspector.

Wether it is possible without workflow.

you can achieve this through the authorization profile.

It is possible with out Workflow, we have Follow up actions feature to initiate reporting of inspection lots.
