Availabiltity chekcing group in sales order item

hi,

is there way to change the availabilitity checking group in the sales order item.

We had the changed the material master checking group, but this takes effect only for new orders. I want to update all the existing open orders for this material, but don't see this field in sales order. I see this field available in mass update for selection , but not for update.

Have any one done this before?. Can I directly update VBAP?

hi

direct updation of table is not advisable.
