VPN to Waldorf

Hello

In Sap-Marketplace I can see under Data Administration->System data that under "Maintain system":

"system open" and

for "status SAP router" :"connection is open"

Is there any chance something is wrong (VPN to Waldorf) on client side (few hours ago an consultant claimed that VPN to Waldorf is broken

Hi,

We had a similar issue and the provlem was that the network team did not tell us that there were an automatic time out on the VPN when there were no activity.

As you never know when SAP people will connect to your system, we had very often connection problems.

As the network team refused to change the VPN settings, our workaround was to run a script which uses niping periodically to keep the VPN busy.
