Hello Boris,

It may be happening becuase of the invalid File type.

The file type may not be in "UTF" format. Open the file in the notepad and save it as UTF file. Please refer to the Import Manager manual for the types of the files that are supported.

Thanks,

Shai

Hi Boris,

Firstly try Saving your import text file in the UTF8 format. This is well supported for importing.

Also analyse your Text file well for undefined charaters like:

- There could be extra delimiters in your file.

- Check the first line of the text file for unknown characters.

- Certain field may contains values which are noty in the correct format.

Hi Boris,

Please check the text file you are trying to Import should be either Delimited or Fixed width.

Also if you are trying to import the file using MDIS concept, the text formats supported are:

· ASCII

· UTF8

· UTF16

Please refer: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mdmgds55/helpdata/EN/43/12036df94c3e92e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm (MDIS->Overview->file formats compatibleWith MDIS->Text formats)

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Priti.
